Raised on my family's ranch in Eastern New Mexico, I often dreamed of adventures with mysterious young men, while helping my seven siblings with chores. After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in English literature, I taught seventh graders how to appreciate poetry that doesn't rhyme. I paused to have back-to-back boys, and during those slap-happy nights, I began writing in earnest. A couple of years later, The Academy Saga was born. It immediately earned a Readers' Favorite seal of approval and was an Amazon Bestseller.

When I'm not running from one athletic field to another to cheer on my boys, you can find me kicked back with my gal pals with a Texas-sized cocktail to gab about favorite books and TV series. But my favorite pleasure is sharing The Academy Saga journey with you.
